What precautions are Millennium’s offices taking to protect me from COVID-19?

Millennium is keeping you – our patients, our healthcare providers and team members as safe as possible by rigorously following established safety guidelines, along with developing innovative solutions to new challenges as they arise.


Millennium uses EPA-approved disinfectants for COVID-19 that are continuously effective for 24 hours to clean frequently touched surfaces, such as countertops, doorknobs, pens, and tablets, as well as exam rooms at least once a day. Additionally, hand sanitizer is made available throughout our offices.

Face Coverings and Masks:

Masks May Be Required at Millennium Offices. The Office Will Alert You to Whether Masks are Required.

 We closely monitor the risk levels published by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) regarding COVID safeguards and transmission levels in Florida at the county level. Our physicians carefully make determinations for each of our office locations and adopt through our organization if needed regarding whether the wearing of masks is required.  These decisions are made based upon the CDC recommendations, patient population and local situations of the practice, as some patients may be more vulnerable to COVID transmission than others. The CDC recommends wearing masks that are made of two or more layers, and which completely cover your nose and mouth.

Please note that you must wear a mask when visiting any of our locations if you are coughing, sneezing or have a fever and consider calling ahead to receive other instructions to best assess your condition.

Our Telehealth Service MPG Connect:

Millennium successfully developed and launched our telehealth virtual visit service, called MPG Connect, in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Our physicians complete approximately 1,500 of these virtual visits daily across the state of Florida, connecting with patients who either cannot or prefer not to come into the office. Use the MPG Connect Telehealth Service when appropriate to virtually meet with the Millennium healthcare provider who knows you best, whether you’re sick or well! Ask about this service when you are requesting or scheduling your appointment.

Wait in Your Car for Your Appointment:

If you prefer to limit your time in our office, you can wait in your car and receive texts when your healthcare provider is ready to see you. Ask the office staff at the front-desk when you arrive for your appointment.

Electronic Check In:

Millennium offers pre-registration and online check-in methods to minimize your wait in the office and reduce the number of surfaces you need to touch. Try it! Look for text and email messages before your scheduled appointment and follow the prompts on either your cell phone, tablet or computer.
